FLOOD RELIEF PROGRAMME |

Narayana Nursing Institutions, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Conducted flood relief activities in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh.Prof. Indira .S, Principal, Narayana Nursing Institutions gave her guidance.
Mr. G. Srinivasan, Vice-Principal and NSS Programme officer, Narayana College of Nursing organized the Flood Relief Programme on behalf of NSS unit and SNA units Narayana College of Nursing and Sree Narayana Nursing College. |
Mr. Hari Krishnan, SNA Advisor, Narayana College of Nursing., volunteers of Sree Narayana Nursing College were attended the flood relief activities.
Around 300 families got benefited in the relief activities, the village like Nandawaram, Nagaladenni, Chinna Kotli, Pedda Kotli, Sanjeevapuram, Gangawaram and Nadhikairaiwade in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh. The basic items like rice, pappu, blankets, torch lights, vessels, buckets etc. are distributed in flood relief activities. The village peoples are appreciated the flood relief activities. |

WORLD AIDS DAY (1st December, 2009) |

World Aids Day program was conducted in Narayana Nursing Institutions on 1st December, 2009. The Students presented drama and skit regarding Aids awareness and prevention. Mr.Ashok, Principal, Sree Narayana Nursing College, Mr. G. Srinivasan, Vice–Principal, and Narayana College of Nursing gave the speech regarding awareness of about Aids and preventive measures. All faculty members and students participated. |

REPORT ON WORLD BREAST FEEDING WEEK CELEBRATION |

| We have celebrated breast feeding week Aug 1st to 7th -2009 in Narayana Nursing Institution. Here IV, III, II year Students were participated and they done models, Charts, role-play, skit, drama. Related with theme of this year Breast Feeding- “Vital emergency responses” On August 1st in kanpoor Village, the IV year students done project regarding Knowledge of primi mother on Breast Feeding. In that findings 35% of mothers had inadequate knowledge. So that IV year and II Year Students given Health Education through role play, puppet show regarding Breast – Feeding to the primi mother. August 2nd to 6th - the students were displayed charts, models in Narayana Medical College & General Hospital, mainly paediatric ward, post natal ward, Ante natal ward, Paediatric OPD and antenatal & postnatal OPD –given Health Education to the public. On August 7th we validate the function by the chief guest Dr. Swaraj Gupta M.D, Dr. Bharath. M.D & Prof. Mrs.Indira.S M.Sc (N), Ph.D. Principal Narayana College of Nursing. |
